地名の由来
アイヌ語の「クチャ・アン・ナイ」（小屋のある川）に由来。
場所
北海道虻田郡倶知安町にある地名。人口は約1万5千人。
羊蹄山の北側を占める風光明媚な町で、ニセコに隣接するスキーリゾートとしても有名。
じゃがいもの産地としても知られている。
